They had me at "Unicorns"

At least, that's the point where I laughed out loud. The whole thing was funny and (sadly) accurate. Renovation explained in Venn diagrams on Houzz.com. Link posted in honour of our kitchen renovation, begun 14 years ago (in my mind, at least--practically, some time later), and which I had hoped to have finished by this Christmas (see diagram 6).

Maybe I'll ask for a unicorn instead.

It's so hard not to want stuff

When there is stuff like this to be had, especially when you have a weakness for:

1) kitchen stuff
2) rustic looking stuff
3) gingerbread

CBC trashes homeschooling mothers as incompetent, uneducated, and sexually irresponsible

They say that like it's a bad thing! Let's think about this for a minute. The journalist in question is a left-lib feminist who works for a lefty, anti-family, anti-life, anti-faith state broadcaster--the CBC. Come, fellow homeschoolers, it would be an insult to be applauded by these people. If they approved of us, it would mean we were not doing our jobs properly. So rejoice, as the Beatitudes say.
