With government bureaucrats, liberal ideology, and unions in the mix, it's safe to say there is no hope, absolutely none whatever, for public education. I agree with David Warren: the whole mess needs to collapse and start over. Parents in charge; tax vouchers. Untold millions will be saved, and mabye a few souls as well.
