It's Vintage Day at DOH

Which is to say, any day I feel like posting vintage stuff is Vintage Day. Today, kitchen canisters.

My mom had these poppy canisters. But not the matching mixing bowls, below: oooh!

Roosters and pink: win, win.

I don't know why I'm partial to chickens; I was rather afraid of them as a child. (Especially those doggone roosters, cuz they would chase and peck us)

I love yellow!

Especially yellow gingham.  

Other fruit and flower themes are lovely too.

To stack, or not to stack? Minty green and turquoise blue...classic

I think I want these for my sorta-country kitchen. I like the simple design, red lids, and place for a label.
