Why the west is bankrupt
Fiscally, morally, intellectually: governments pay universities to research whether or not TV cartoons will affect children for whom they (the shows) were not intended. Gone is all common sense when taxpayer-funded PhDs spend time dissecting SpongeBob. My latest at MercatorNet.

And here I thought Spongebob was the sure path to a Nobel Prize in physics. Clearly I'll have to rethink this year's curriculum.
ReplyDeleteIt is if you can snag a government grant to study it (SpongeBob's furniture is under water--why doesn't it float? That ought to be worth a few hundred thousand). If WarBob Obama can win a Nobel peace prize, anything's possible...
