Is this life really real?

Or am I in the middle of a Flannery O'Connor story?

I have begun to read this book, and even though I'm not yet beyond the introduction, I can tell I'm in for a joyride.

    Yes, if I wasn't positive that I fall into the "too stupid to have an intelligent converstion with Flannery O'Connor" percentage of the population.
