Worth a read

Over at Australia's JoNova:

Free speech is the greatest of gifts for humanity. It unleashes the best of billions of brains. The internet is changing the power-structure of societies, and the ruling class don’t like it at all. The fact that their ideas are so weak and that they are so defenseless against sharp observations, is is exactly why they have to regulate it.

As an aside, I also found this amusing:

"Some days I wonder if an audience of 5,000 readers a day matters..."

Oh, she's saying that as if it's a bad thing, and I'm thinking: Only in my most fevered dreams...
